English Language Challenges

Hi everyone Well, this is the last blog to my English IV course,  and the topic is "English Language Challenges". Maybe, I do a different format with respect to the typical blogs, something more like an interview. So, let's start.  What comments can I make about my experience learning english at university? First, my experience learning english was good, I had professors really excellent like Rosa Zagal, then Ronda Haverland, and finally René Larenas, I am very happy for having them as teachers, his classes was educational as possible, with videos, presentations, listening tests in class, and many more things.  What about the use of blogs? To be honest, in my opinion is normal, neither good nor bad, because a lot of times I had exams, test in the rest to subject in my current semester and do blogs was just a little bit complicated, but, on the other hand, in this case like coronavirus pandemic, cyber university, etc, the blogs are a good way to qualify, as more playful.

Changes to my study programe

Hi everyone Today I am going to write about "changes to my study programe".  I remind you, I study Chemistry and Pharmacy and this career is cataloged to the health area, but, according to my study programe in the University of Chile, is it really close to health personnel?, in my opinion: kind of. Why? because, with respect to others universities, our University has more scientific subjects than health subjects, for example, the University of Concepción has in his study programe "Anatomy for the Pharmacist" or "Clinical Pharmacy" more semesters than me. So, in conclusion, I think that our faculty should implement more courses about this area. On the other hand, about workload, being honest, sometimes it's very exhausting, but I think that is part of wanting to be a profesional, so it's ok. However, if we talk about the buildings and infrastructure, in my faculty it's really good, but we could say a little bit old, without changes since a time

Time travel to the future

Hello everyone!  Today, I am going to write about "time travel to the future". Is it a crazy topic? probably. Is it fine think outside to reality? Maybe.  So, I will start. Why travel to the future? will it be dangerous? The unique form to find out is thinking and imagining.  First, I would like to travel for one week exactly, to get to know if I was selected for a scholarship, because my university future depends of that during this year, especially my spring semester. So, if this results to be OK, my next travel will be 8 months in the future, that is, in September approximately, for I am to make sure if my decision in the past about this scholarship it was a correct and the best choice that I could have took. Second, I would like to travel for 2 years, to find out if the Sars Cov 2 Pandemic it's done, if coronavirus kept replicating and forming new variants in different countries, Or, if vaccines still works. It is a doubt that is killing me and my brain. I am very exc

As you well know, I study for to be Pharmacist, so, I could work in the medicines laboratory, hospitals, like a professor in some university, etc. However, also I would like work teaching chemistry to secondary students. ¿Why?, because I think that in the chilean school, the chemistry has a bad reputation, the students saying "It's a very difficult", and I, Marcelo Sepulveda, I want to eradicate that idea from students mind. On the other hand, my interesting for the people and animal health increasingly, cause' I really like study about the medicines and his contraindications, or the human physiology, and many others topics that involve my career. For this reason, in the future I would be a Clinical Pharmacist here in Chile or in any country, because I feel a happy sense when I help to the people with his medicines, etc. ¿Do it do for money? Yes, I have to life for something, but, through the payment it&

Have your mom, dad, grandparents ever told you when you have a headache, something like: go to buy a coke, because you feel better after that you drink it, or, did you heard the above somewhere? Well, this have an explanation.  Jhon Stith Pemberton was an American Pharmacist, who is best known as the inventor of Coca-Cola (soda). How?, He was an addict to the morphine and in 1866 he was looking for a cure for this addiction, and for that reason, he wanted to supply the morphine with a syrup that produce the same pleasure that produce this drug. Therefore, in a moment the coke had 9 milligrams to cocaine per recommended portion, and then, when he realized that the cocaine was addictive, he replace again the cocaine with caffeine.  When de coke was a medicine, this was considered as brain tonic and nerve stimulator, and for thi

Systems Physiology

Hi everyone! Here we are again for the new blog, and this explain something about my study program. In this semester, I have 7 subjects, like Physical Chemistry, English Level Fourth, Passport to Serenity, Organic Chemistry II, Analytical Chemistry 2, and Chemical Analysis Laboratory, and Systems Physiology. The las one subject is commanded by Hernán Lara, biochemist of our university, a professor amateur and passionate about physiology, and thanks to him and his way to teach, this course it turned in my favorite. ¿Why? You are wondering, and the answer is simple, the contents, for example, nervous system, circulatory system, digestive system, and many others are involved in our daily life, when you eat, when you breathe, when you read, and a lot of actions that we realized always, so, also to learn about the mechanism for to communicate with structures, organs, tissues, or among the systems, you and me, we are learning how work our human body, and for me, that is very very very intere
